December 5th, 2025 – 
Today I lost two Bibb lettuce sprouts and a Spinach sprout. They have wilted into a thin strand barely visible above.
I am the cause of their demise. You can see the healthy sprouts on the right all have dark soil. I used the same soil all around, so the soil being darker means it has more water. The condensation that forms in the plastic cover had been dripping on the row to the right which had saved it from my water neglect.
With the amount of soil so small it cannot retain that much water, so I plan to always keep the soil moist for the sprouts.
