December 8th, 2025 – Sprouts are growing strong. Several have shed the seed husk and are growing tall.
After the drought I cause earlier I have two Bibb lettuce sprouts, two spinach sprouts and five parris island lettuce sprouts. If two sprouts are in one soil section I am calling this one sprout for now.
The sprouts on the right hand side had started to develop a very hard lean towards the center of the seed starter kit. After playing around with the light, I found they were leaning to get directly underneath the light. I shifted the lights so that all the sprouts are directly underneath the light. 
After loosing a few sprouts I also began to change the light duration. I am not sure if changing the light from 6 to 12 hours a day helped the spouts, or if it was just getting the proper water. But I’ve decided to keep this 12 hour duration moving forward.
